Does it cost to have an account with Smorty? No, it's absolutely free to set up and maintain an account with Smorty. How long will it take have my blog application reviewed? It can take up to 72 hours to have
your blog approved/declined. We will generally try to process Blogs as
soon as they are received. What do I do if my blog is rejected? Once Smorty has sent you an email
describing why your blog was not approved, you have a chance to fix
these problems. Once they are fixed you can resubmit for another review
via the contact us page. If the problem can not be fixed, (e.g. banned domain name) we will permanently reject your blog. How many blogs can I have with Smorty? You
can have up to 10 blogs registered under your account. The more blogs
you have, the more money you make! You can add more blogs from your
admin panel under the "my account" section. How much can I get paid for blogging? You can earn as much as you like.
Earnings are directly related to the number of valid opinions you post
and earnings from the Digxa mini store widget if placed in your blog.
Each post will bring you a minimum of US$6 and the Pagerank of your blog
along with a high Smorty Star Rating determines whether you receive
higher paid ad campaigns, bringing you up to even $100 per post. The
Digxa mini store widget earns you a varying commission depending on the
products clicked on. How does my page rank affect my income? Smorty has a unique blogger ranking
system. There are two factors affecting your income, firstly, if you
have a higher Google Page Rank you will be offered higher paying
campaigns as well as the lower paid campaigns. This will start at $6 and
go up to around $60 for some campaigns. Secondly, Smorty's calculates
it's own ,
it's created by the accumulation of scores given by 5 star rating advertisers on a
per post basis. For example, if you submited ten posts and the
advertisers gave you 5 stars for all of your posts then your average
star rating will be 5. Your rating starts at zero stars and it will take time to
grow so be patient and write lots of good quality posts to get the best
rating you can. If you have a higher rating, you are more likely to receive
more campaign offers and more higher priced campaigns. You can earn up
to even $100 per article on some occasions. How long do I have to write a post after I have accepted it? You need to complete and submit your post in your Smorty admin panel within 24 hours from you first accepting it. How long does it take to have my post approved? Advertisers have 5 full days
to review your posts, they are then automatically approved after this
time if not disputed. Disputed posts are placed on hold for Smorty staff
to review and make a final decision. What happens if my post is declined or sent back to me for changes? If your
post is declined then you will lose that task and will not be paid for
it. If the post is sent back asking for changes, you have 24 hours to
fix it and submit the post again in your admin panel. When will I get paid? For the paid posts, bloggers generally
get paid on a weekly basis, however Smorty do not have a set payment
day. The reason for this is because we pay via PayPal mass pay. The
transfer of tens of thousands of dollars through PayPal can sometimes
vary in time. As soon as your post has been approved, which takes 5
days, we try to pay for that blog article on the first payment day of
that week. Please do not contact us if you are not paid that week, the
money is in transfer and you will be paid for your pending earnings. For
Pay-Per-Click and Pay-Per-View advertising commissions you will be paid
monthly at the same time and only with your post payments. How do I get paid? You will be paid through PayPal. If
you don't have a PayPal account please open one as it is the only method
of payment. Opening a PayPal account is completely free and takes 5
minutes.
to open a PayPal account. My Paypal account has changed or was unverified, how will I receive payments you've already sent? Ideally you should wait until your
payments have been received in full before changing your account. This
means you have accepted the payment in your PayPal admin. If you have changed your PayPal account without accepting
the payment we have sent, it takes 30 days for the payment to be
released again by PayPal for us to send to a new account (otherwise you
will receive the payment from two accounts) If you have an unverified account and we have sent your
payment, it will note this is your Smorty admin payment history. You
must login to PayPal and verify your account, then accept the payment. If you have deleted your PayPal account and your Smorty
account after a payment has been sent then we have no way of paying you,
please be careful before doing this! Which countries can apply? As long as you have a PayPal account you can apply from any country. What do the 5 stars showing next to my profile picture in my admin mean? The 5 star rating is an
accumulation of scores given by advertisers on a per post basis. For
example, if you submited ten posts and the advertisers gave you 5 stars
for all of your posts then your average star rating will be 5. Your rating starts at zero stars and it will take time to grow so be patient and write lots of good quality post to get the best rating you can. This will get you more posts! Can I post my opinions in a language other than English? No. You can only get paid for blogging using English content. What is the process of posting an opinion? It is simple. As soon as there is a
new available campaign for your blog(s) you will be receiving an email
from us describing the task and deadlines. As soon as your opinion is posted you must follow the link
on the email and enter your posts detail for review. You will be paid
only for approved posts. What are the rules of writing an opinion article? Please refer to our blogger rulespage for all rules, however here are a few points - Each opinion must be unique and especially written for that campaign and must be relevant to the campaign subject.
- We advise you not to write negative opinions as these are more commonly disputed.
- Each post must include the anchor text with a direct link to the advertisers page provided.
- Each post must include only one (1) outbound link unless asked otherwise which must be the campaign owners provided URL.
- Posts should be a minimum of 150 words and not exceed 400 words
Can I post the same opinion on more than one blog? No. Each opinion article must be uniquely written for individual blogs. Can I post different opinions on the same blog for the same campaign? No. You can take ownership of one campaign per blog, once. Can I combine two or more campaigns in one opinion post? No. Each posting has to be individual and unique. It must be written exclusively for one campaign. Can I use other advertisements on my blog like banners or Google Adsense? Yes you can use any form of
advertising on your blog at the same time unless it is part of the
sponsors post. Smorty does not limit the way in which you get paid for
blogging, we only add to it. Why was my blog banned and can I unban it? Smorty ban blogs for using
duplicate content or other fraudulent activities. You will be sent an
email with the cause if your blog is banned. No you cannot unban a blog, please do not ask us or beg us. Can I change the domain name of my blog? No. apart from adding or removing the
www's. Search engines index your blog by your domain name and page
URL's. e.g. www.myblog.com and www.myblog.com/my_post.html All your posts are indexed on search engines and given a
value according to it's content, age, inbound links etc. If you change
the domain of your blog then all that dissapears and your new domain
starts from scratch again in the search engines. The new domain needs to
build it's own value and it's own link structure. Therefore if you want
to change your blog domain, you will need to submit this as a new blog
within your Smorty account. Please do not beg us :-) Can I refer other new bloggers? Yes. Please visit our blogger referal pageto learn more. How do I become a publisher? It's just one click away.
